3 Drugstore Mascaras Worth Buying

*I get a commission for purchases or clicks made through links in this post

Mascara is one of my favorite beauty products to use hands down. I am always so excited when it come to pick out a mascara that I want to wear for the day. When it comes to buying mascara I tend to stick with drugstore brands. Not only are they a great price but I feel that the formula is just as good or even better than some of the high-end brands.  I really do have my favorite high-end mascaras but I tend to reach for a drugstore mascara more than the high-end one. I have narrow down my favorite to my top three that are totally worth buying from the drugstore.

Maybelline Lash Sensational

When I first bought this mascara and used it I could totally see why there was so much hype about this product. It made my lashes look longer, fuller and it did not clump at all.Which is everything that I want in a mascara regardless if it high-end or drugstore. I have repurchased the Lash Sensatioanl mascara multiple times and will keep buying it. I will always have this on hand in my makeup bag as a trusty go to. Also, what makes this a great mascara is that no matter what kind of make up you are wearing for the day, it goes. This is also great for days when you don’t want to wear any other make up but mascara just to make yourself look a little more put together. Great for when you get done with the gym and have some errands to do.

L’Oréal Voluminous Lash Paradise

This mascara has been out for a little bit now and I feel like everyone was talking about it in the beauty community. The L’Oréal Voluminous Lash Paradise is hands down one of THE best mascaras that I have tried.  I also agree with a lot of other beauty lover that this is a great dupe for the Too Faced BTS mascara ,you are getting the same great look without the higher price tag. It makes my lashes look fuller, super long , does not clump or  flake off. I can wear this all day and it still looks as good as when I first put it on. Even when you put on more than one coat of the mascara on my lashes still look just as amazing and not clumply. I could go one talking about this mascara for days if I wanted to do but if I where you I would run to the closest drugstore and pick yourself up one of these quick. Seriously go get your hands on this now.

Physicians Formula Organic Wear Fake Out

Physisans Formula is a brand that I feel that is not on a lot of peoples radars. They really have some great products like the Organic Wear Fake Out mascara. I love the way this mascara curls and adds volume to my lashes. Also, it has 100% natural ingredients which is a plus. The only thing that is a negitive for me was that it did not give me that “Fake ” lash look which I am okay with it,which is probabley why I love this mascara so much. It gives me a very natual looking lash would is great for daytime looks or when you dont want to wear a lot of make up. You really can’t go wrong with this mascara.

What is your favorite drugstore mascara ? Do you prefer drugstore or high-end mascara?

My Travel Bucket List

I have been very lucky to have been introduced to traveling at such a young age when I went to go visit my sister in Japan. Even since then I have been compiling a list of places in the world that I want to visit before I die. Traveling is such an adventure and a life lesson all wrapped up in one.  Not only do you get to meet new people, you get to lose yourself in a different world and learn something new about yourself. You don’t have to be rich to travel the world you just have to make it one of your priorities in life. I always joke with my mom that the only reason I work is so I can travel the world. My dream job would have to be to travel the world and discover new places. I have a feeling that this list will forever be changing.

Homemade Pizza

Pizza is by far one of my favorite meals that I like to eat, it’s so simple yet so delicious. Now, that I have been getting into making more of my dinners at home to save money. I started to play around with making pizza at home. I quickly learn that it is super easy and can turn out to be ultra delicious. Another reason why I love making pizza at home now is because I can make it any way I like. If I want to make it healthier I can but if I want to have a junk food day I can by making the pizza not so healthy. This the best of both worlds because I am not spending a lot of money on pizza and I can also be a little healthier too.

Welcome to The Topknot Baker.

I have tried my hand at blogging before and my heart was never really into it then. I had a hard time trying to figuring out where I wanted to take my blog and how much effort I wanted to put in to it. So I took some time to think about where I wanted to take my blog or even if I wanted to continue blogging. So that is where The Topknot Baker comes in, it’s going to be a lifestyle blog and fresh start for me. This way I can write about all of the things that I am interned in like baking, traveling, makeup, sports, and fashion. Where as my other blog before I tried to just focus on makeup but I just myself not loving makeup that much to just write about it.

However, what really made me think about taking my blog seriously and actually putting time into my blog is a video that my mom showed me a few weeks back. It was a video of Steve Harvey taking to his studio audience about how you have to take the jump in life if you want to make your dreams happen. I will link the video here. It is a great video to watch and it makes me think that you really do have to take a leap in life if you want to make your dreams come true. I really don’t know where I want this blog to take me but I do want to see where this will take me. You never know what is going to happen in life if you don’t take the opportunity when it is in front of you.

I hope that you will find my blog entertaining and maybe help one of you out by bringing a little joy to your day. I will be posting a new post every Sunday and Tuesday .Be sure to hit that follow button so you never miss a post. You can also follow me on InstagramTwitter, I also look forward to getting know you, hi yes you, more. That is another reason why I wanted to start a blog is to interact with more people. I hope that you have a wonderful day and make sure to follow so you don’t miss anything.

Much Love, Brynn
